Cyanotypes

Always popular at The EYE Festival, the Cyanotype workshop will return again in 2018.

Under the guidance of Andy Pearsall you can try this early technique in the grounds of Aberystwyth University and produce your own stunning and unique cyanotype prints, using the same process discovered by John Herschel in 1842.

The National Library of Wales

Book an appointment for a visit to The National Library just next door to the University. Put on the white gloves and hold some of the incredible photographic collection from the Library vaults. A list of prints will be available soon. It’s a chance to see and hold original Edward S. Curtis American Indian prints or a Philip Jones Griffiths print from Vietnam.

An opportunity not to be missed so book soon to ensure your place.
